The Rocket Family Chronicles is loosely based on my family’s life and the lives of our friends and, particularly, our experience of bringing up a son with autism. The autism challenge has given us a different set of glasses from which to see the world, mostly because our son sees the world differently than most people.
For years, we’ve been using film, tv, video and acting as a means to make the world relevant to him (you can read about all that in his book). And The Rocket Family Chronicles turns that methodology on its ear when Rocket shows us how we look to him through his camera. It is our hope that regardless of the challenges life throws at you, this show will engage you to see the lighter side.
